Data Protection Policy

The COBA B&C Group applies a data protection policy to its recruitment system. By accepting our selection system’s data protection policy, you agree that the data you provide through this system may be stored and processed by all legal entities of the COBA B&C Group in the context of selection and recruitment processes.

The COBA B&C Group undertakes not to share the information collected with any entity external to the business group, and to process said information in accordance with current data protection legislation, committing to:


COBA B&C Group Commitments:

a) To process personal data exclusively for the purposes detailed below;
b) To access or receive only adequate, relevant personal data, limited to what is strictly necessary for the purposes described;
c) To retain personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfill these purposes, or for the period necessary to comply with legal obligations that involve a longer period, or to demonstrate compliance with its own legal obligations, including limitation periods for rights or in the event of claims or litigation related to the data;
d) To maintain total confidentiality regarding personal data and, consequently, not to copy, reproduce, adapt, modify, alter, delete, destroy, disseminate, transmit, disclose, or make it available to third parties, except:

(i) with the prior consent of the candidate,

(ii) in compliance with a legal obligation or by decision of a judicial or administrative authority, or

(iii) if necessary for the purposes of the processing, provided that an adequate level of protection is ensured.


Use and disclosure of personal data for specific purposes

The Human Resources Department of the COBA B&C Group will use your personal data, voluntarily entered on this platform, solely and exclusively for selection and recruitment processes.

The COBA B&C Group will treat your data confidentially and use it exclusively for internal use by the group’s legal entities, in accordance with applicable data privacy laws.
The information collected will be destroyed at the end of the legally established period.

The COBA B&C Group implements security measures to protect the data under its control against manipulation, accidental loss, destruction (accidental or unlawful), as well as unauthorized access or disclosure.


Candidates

When you apply through a spontaneous application or through an offer published in the “Opportunities” section of our website, you are providing your personal data to the COBA B&C Group .

The implemented management system requires that this process begin by filling in all the fields of the form corresponding to said candidacy.

Failure to complete all required fields will prevent you from submitting the application, including the attached file (CV).

This requirement allows the entire subsequent process of consultation, selection, and evaluation, carried out by the Human Resources Department, to benefit from a properly classified document archive.

Posting offers and updating data

 

Any recruitment need will only be published on the “Opportunities” page of the COBA B&C Group website, after a rigorous analysis of the applications existing in our “Spontaneous Applications” database.

The candidate is responsible for ensuring that the information provided is correct and truthful.

Each application will be kept in the management system for 24 months. During that time, if the applicant experiences changes in their professional, academic, or other circumstances, they can update the information provided.

This update will involve the complete resubmission of all previously required data, including, of course, the new information.
